Eureka Network Project Arlean (INDUSTRY – ARLEAN)

EUR-20160001. AUGMENTED REALITY AND WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY FOR IMPROVED INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS IN LEAN PROCESSES

The project with file number IDI-20160797 has been co-financed by the Centro Tecnológico de Desarrollo Industrial (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Multi-regional Operational Programme for Smart Growth.

  • The implementation of Augmented Reality in industrial environments offers great advantages. Environments such as Logistics or Industrial Maintenance – where traditional labour is still intensive – can obtain substantial improvements in the reduction of errors, safety and optimization of all processes.

  • The challenge has been the design and validation of an integration environment of AR-based solutions for industrial environments that would allow the agile inclusion of new services, components, and devices to quickly adapt projects to the specific needs of each client in the Logistics and Industrial Maintenance sectors. The project was developed by a consortium of companies (UBIMAX, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and Keyland SdG).

The indoor geolocation optimization solution

This project, with file number IDI-20170564, has been co-financed by the Centro Tecnológico de Desarrollo Industrial (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Multi-regional Operational Programme for Smart Growth.

  • The project consists of the development of a high-pressure and real-time indoor positioning system for tracking assets and people. It includes tracking devices and sensors, an IoT platform that processes positions and a set of applications for visualization and analysis.

Reliance

Resilient and scalable slicing over multiple domains. CELTIC-PLUS-PROYECT-ID: C2017/3-8

This project, with file number IDI-20180743, has been co-financed by the Centro Tecnológico de Desarrollo Industrial (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Spanish Multi-regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.

  • It is a project formed by a consortium of different European companies. RELIANCE’s aim is to enhance the design and implementation of 5G systems by contributing to the design of future 5G-based architectures. The associated research activities position RELIANCE and the consortium at the forefront of network and services research. 5G opens up new opportunities for solutions in the industry and IoT.

  • This is the reason for Keyland SdG’s participation in this consortium, contributing with its expertise in Industry 4.0 and developing case studies under 5G. This project is financed by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI).

IVVES

This project, conducted by Keyland SdG, is executed entirely in Castilla y Leon with an execution period from 01/10/2019 to 31/09/2022, and a total budget of €679,613.25.

  • The use of complex or evolutionary smart systems (such as systems whose behaviour is changing due to constant  developments or their ability to self-adapt and learn) will become increasingly common in areas such as automation, computing or digital services.

  • Focusing on the validation and verification challenges of such systems, IVVES will research and develop possible robust, comprehensive, industrial and integrated verification and validation solutions.
